SUMMER TEAMS
Great Lakes Baseball Academy will be running Summer Teams for the upcoming 2026 season.

Our summer program has been designed to create an environment for athletes to develop and grow in practice while preparing them for some of the biggest summer tournaments in the country. Summer athletes will focus on physical growth, player development and fine-tuning specific baseball skills that are required to play at the next level.

SUMMER TRYOUTS
The purpose of tryouts is to assess an individual player’s abilities and to place them on the appropriate team so they may compete, grow, and enjoy playing alongside players at their skill level.

No player will be placed on a team until they have completed the tryout process.

Tryout Information
August 4th - Data Testing
2027s: 9:00 AM - 10:15 AM
2028s: 10:30 AM - 11:45 AM
2029s: 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM
August 6th - On-Field (Workouts/Games)
2027s: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
2028s: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
2029s: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Process

All players must attend both tryouts.

Great Lakes coaches will run the tryout process.

All players will stretch/catch together as an academy during their tryout.

All players will be evaluated in the following areas (infield, outfield, hitting, and pitching).

All players should be in full uniform (hat, shirt, baseball pants, cleats).

Cost
Tryout fee is $55 if you pre-register; $65 for walk-ups
