14U SUMMER TEAMS

Great Lakes Baseball Academy will be running Select Summer Teams for the upcoming 2025 summer season.

Our Lumberjacks summer program will focus on individual skill development, while allowing players a chance to play against competition that raise the level of their game. Players will also build positive relationships with our staff, their teammates, and our Great Lakes families.

Summer Program Includes

8 Tournaments

2 Practices per week

6 Winter dome practices

2 Coaches per team

SUMMER TRYOUTS

The purpose of tryouts is to assess an individual player’s abilities and to place them on the appropriate team so they may compete, grow, and enjoy playing alongside players at their skill level.

No player will be placed on a team until they have completed the tryout process.

Tryout Information

July 29th - Data Testing

14U: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

July 30th - On-Field (Workouts/Games)

14U: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Process

All players must attend both tryouts.
Great Lakes coaches will run the tryout process.
All players will stretch/catch together as an academy during their tryout.
All players will be evaluated in the following areas (infield, outfield, hitting, and pitching).
All players should be in full uniform (hat, shirt, baseball pants, cleats).

Cost

Tryout fee is $55 if you pre-register; $65 for walk-ups
